We take our aging Shih-Tzu to Whiskers and are very pleased with the treatment by Mary and her assistant. I have tried several other groomers and Whiskers gives him the best cut. Definitely my first choice. I'm very impressed with how caring and kind they are, they hold him like he's their own. Our rescue Shih-Tzu only has one eye and he's very fidgety so it's difficult to trim his face. The last time we were there, Mary realized they missed a spot on his face and asked to trim it right there. I observed them handle him and they were so gentle. Other groomers have said they can't trim his face because he's too squirmy. I highly recommend Whiskers.

I like this place. The staff is very professional and well educated. The owner has more than 40 years of experience and she always think what is the best for the dogs.They have taught me a lotttttt about dog's health and which is the right haircut for each breed. I will recommend this place for sure.

Took my border collie chow mix in to get his fur trimmed off and they shaved him all mismatched. He came back with razor burns/cuts on one of his legs and all he does now is lick at the wounds. Taking him into the vet to see what is wrong with him because he's very mopey and depressed. Chose to ignore the bad reviews because my wife's coworker said the place was great. I'm not going to trust them ever again and I encourage others to seek another groomer.

I am absolutely disgusted. I brought my cairn terrier into Whiskers and when I came back I was not expecting what happened next. I hear them putting his harness and leash back on and all I hear is "STOP IT! NO!" and a loud smack followed by my dog's cry. He was limping when he came out from behind the screen, not his usual peppy self, and bleeding from his paws and nails when I got home. I took a look at his nails and they cut them so short you could see the quick and ALL of his nails were bleeding. I was stunned and took precautionary measures as I did not want to have the police called on me in their shop. So I called them when I got home and asked to speak to the manager. I asked her if they gave him a sedative to which she responded very nastily, "ABSOLUTELY NO!" I said, "Well I heard screaming and yelling behind the screen while you guys were putting on my dog's harness." Get this (she even admits it), "OH! THAT WAS ANOTHER DOG!". I said, "That's unacceptable. You do NOT yell at your customer's animal." She hung up on me mid-sentence. I will tell you this, do not make the mistake of bringing your dog to this groomer like the other reviewers and I did. Sure, I paid only $34 but now my animal has psychological trauma and will be visiting the vet. So this visit is going to cost me $234. Thank you Whiskers Pet Grooming. You will be reported by me as well and hopefully have your disgusting business shut down.

my poor puppy walked out with a limping leg and razor burn all over her body. when i called the owner to ask what they did she called me all types of names. I feel that they are abusing animals in the back. when i peaked my head around the corner it looked like the place hasnt been cleaned in over a year. please if you love your animals do not take them here they hurt and abuse them

As I warned a few months ago, Whiskers buthchered my Pomeranian. Do not go there. The groomer is abusive. I heard her hurt a dog behind the wall. When it yelped in pain, I heard her say, "Good Dog". The Whiskers people got fired from their previous workplace for abuse and neglect of the dogs they were supposed to groom. Be careful where you take your dogs, for our dogs cannot tell us if they have been abused.

I have a yorkie who had very long hair, I specially told the girl I wanted it cut short but not short short. Told her I wanted the hair on his stomach short, well went to pick up our yorkie and they shaved all his hair off. I am not happy very very disappointed, I called and the girl said sorry and didn't really give a flip. No stars for Whiskers from me!!!

I have a maltese and have them cut his hair in the puppy cut. They do a really nice job.

We've been using these ladies for our dog for almost a year now and we are very pleased with the service and the ability to call ahead and take her and drop her off, do errands and pick her up several hours later.
