Headquartered in Los Angeles, Smart & Final started as the Hellman-Haas Grocery Company more than 130 years ago. Founded in 1871, the company later took the names of owners J.S. Smart and H.D. Final. It offers the SmartAdvantage card, which provides discounts on products, store promotion notices and rewards to its members. Smart & Final maintains a location in Delano, Calif. The company operates more than 250 warehouse stores for food and food service supplies in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho and northern Mexico.
