Delano High School is a four-year, public coeducational institution that offers education and enrichment services to students in grades nine through 12. The school provides college-preparatory courses in a wide range of disciplines, including English, social studies, math, science, language arts, and foreign languages. It also offers programs, including gifted and talented, and technology-preparatory program in subjects, such as computer aided drafting, woodworking and metals. The school also offers business education, and physical and special education programs. It also offers a wide range of athletic programs, such as football, basketball, tennis, softball, cross country, soccer and volleyball. It has a media center providing electronic databases and a large collection of books, journals and newspapers. It also provides various extracurricular activities, such as band and choir. The school is located in Delano, Minn., and is a part of the Delano Public Schools.
