Delavan Community Unit School District 703, established in 1840, consists of elementary, junior and high schools. It offers education to more than 500 students in grades kindergarten through 12. The district offers a curriculum that includes English, social studies, mathematics, science, arts and humanities, physical and technical education and computers. The services offered by the district include educational grants, study tips, academic scholarships, career counseling and transportation. It provides various sports activities to students, including baseball, basketball, cross country, cheerleading, football golf, hockey, swimming, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. The district also organizes special child care and after school programs for students and undertakes community-based projects.
