Before hiring Buckeye Basements, my wife and I had met with several other contractors and basement finishing companies. From the first 2 minutes we spent with John, we knew we had found our guy. It was obvious that he was extremely knowledgeable and couldn't have been more professional. We gave him an idea of what we were thinking for the basement, and he in turn gave us some ideas on what he'd done in the past, and what may work well with our initial plans. It was great to have him engaged in the project, as it is clear he takes pride in his work.



After our consultation and discussion on pricing, John laid out the construction schedule, stage by stage, as well as a finish date. If you've never worked with a contractor before, this is very rare. John and his team stuck to the schedule, and actually finished up before the finish date we were given. John and Leah keep you informed and up to date each day throughout the project on what was done that day, and what can be expected in the coming days.



Now that we've had our basement done for several months now, we couldn't be more happy with the decision to go with Buckeye Basements. Every time we're in the basement, we still can't believe that it's our basement! In my experience, you get what you pay for. However, with Buckeye Basements, their professionalism and quality of work is far beyond their cost. My wife and I would highly recommend them for any & all projects.

Buckeye basements did an incredible job remolding our basement and I would recommend them to anyone. I was able to contact the owner, John, directly and voice any concerns I had. He was either immediately available or returned my call in a very timely manner. The work was well done, finished when they said it would be, and were respectful of keeping other areas of the house clean when they were bringing their supplies in and out of the house.
