The Delaware County Sheriff s Office provides law enforcement services, promotes public safety and protects the rights and property of the approximately 125,000 residents in Delaware County, Ohio. The patrol division is responsible for the investigation of criminal offenses, crime prevention and traffic enforcement. The investigations division is responsible for investigating all major crimes. The support division includes civil warrants, communications and weight enforcement. The youth services division operates a variety of programs, including bicycle safety, underage drinking, avoiding sexual assault, safe driving and seat belt use. Specialty divisions within the office include traffic enforcement, the K-9 and tactical units, mounted deputies, dive team and special deputies.
