Provided by YPmobileHave to say, on my now forth visit, not impressed with food or service. Was so excited when they opened but food and service have been very sub-par. The staff are awesome, the place is beautiful, but no one is watching over what's coming out of the kitchen, and most of the bartenders are "underqualified". I've been by myself twice, French Onion needs serious Irish work ...no favor and amateurish and luke warm and knowing how to make basic drinks helps. On a recent Monday, after a month open! Before 6:30, out of French Onion soup, chili and reubens & steak for Caesars! The two stews came with mashed potatoes and little stew, not sure if they ran out of stew or made the Bangers and Mash twice by accident?! The plate of calamari, which they did take off the bill, was crumbs! Yikes! People want another bar in Delmar, howeve, they will not make it on food alone. Because the owners and family working for them are so nice, they will probably make it, but not on food alone ~ these are not "real" Irish receipes, but distributor bought, right down to the small orders of fries and expensive onion rings and young "cooks" in the small kitchen. I don't think this is what anyone expected, I expected potato pancakes, real brisket, homemade fries, stews, chili, etc. The Reuben I had was very sorry, dressing mixed with sauerkraut and fat and some meat, looked like the cutting board was cleaned off onto my bread! ~ didn't expect a NYC deli sandwich, but some sort of meat! I really hope they review all of this, otherwise, it's just a Delmar bar.....
