Provided by YPmobileWe went here because we miss having proper British food and this place was featured on the Travel Channel as a "haunted" restaurant. The outside of the pub was shipped over from England and it's quite lovely. But other than for a pint, there is no reason on earth to eat here.

Provided by YP.comMy wife & I went to the Blue Anchor tonight because of the good things we heard about the restaurant's Fish & Chips. That may be good, but my wife's "Beer Battered Fish Sandwich" (which we thought might just be as good as the "Fish 'n Chips") was terrible. It looked like 1/2 of a "brick" of frozen fish. The coating was hard and it was obviously cut in half (one end was not coated). There was more bun than fish and when we asked the waitress if the fish was fresh, she said, "frozen fresh". We should have asked, I guess, but if the "fish n chips" fish is the same "beer battered"----they can keep it. Paddy McFee's was much better , in fact, I've had good fish at Bru's. Better than this-----and more reasonably priced.
My Shepard's Pie was good.
