The museum is housed in the old National Guard Armony and is governed by the Luna County Historical Society. The museum, located in Deming, N.M., is on the state and national registers. It displays thundereggs, geodes and nodules. Additionally, it exhibits various Chinese items, such as crockery and crystals. It also exhibits a wide collection of quilts, laces and bells. Its doll museum offers different variety of dolls, including the Heroshima doll and Shirley Temple.
