They seem nice but for someone used to Gold service, everything is very slow and manual. In addition the quality of the cars they rent is not very good. The car I rented recently had 34,000+ miles and had damage on almost every body panel and two of the wheels. When I complained, they said the airport got all the good cars. When I called 1800-car-gold to complain, they said they couldn't do anything but fill out a complaint form and suggested it would be faster for me to do it on the web. I sent an e-mail to their CEO and SVP of Operations and heard nothing back. It's been two weeks. I'm going to find someone else to rent with next time. I doubt they could be worse.
