I'm always skeptical about trying a I'm always skeptical about trying a "new" shop but frankly I've had it up to my neck with all the shops in the Denton area. So when I came in to Master Transmission for my appointment I was more than a little overly watchful. Refreshingly enough though the Store was very clean, very knowledgeable and helpful staff who were hospitable to my wife and I. Paul the Store Manager was very hospitable and they started RIGHT AWAY and had my 4X4 fixed and completely repaired the very next day. They even cleaned it. AWESOME

Watch Out! Was Transmission Depot, not a good place to go!

I can't believe David Eubanks is at it again in Denton!! I see he opened Master Transmission after taking advantage of people at Transmission Depot. (check out their reviews at http://www.automd.com/shops/transmission-depot-of-dallas_464871/ , http://local.yahoo.com/info-65123487-transmission-depot-of-corinth-corinth , www.yelp.com/biz/transmission-depot-of-corinth-corinth ) Do a search for “Master Transmission” online and you will see that in many places the listing still show the old 5759 I35E address where Transmission Depot was! He is not a member of the Better Business Bureau and when you search his shop name there are multiple complaints filed against his shop in Carrollton (if he still owns it) and Corinth (see http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/transmissions-automobile/transmission-depot-of-corinth-in-carrollton-tx-90303048). You will see that there are billing issues (where he raises the price after he takes the car apart) and product or service issues (where he doesn’t fix the vehicle properly) He claims to have ASE Certified techs but when you ask him to see the certifications, he gets mad and lies his way out because there are none. I couldn't find this guy after a close friend of mine got taken by him in Carrollton. This is what he does, opens a shop, takes a bunch of people for money, closes the shop, leaving the customers with no warranty, waits a while and opens again under another name so no one can find him. When I was trying to find him after he left Transmission Depot, I heard that he got kicked out of his location in Corinth and destroyed the property when he left. What does that say about this guy? I actually found four positive reviews out there?! Isn't it unusual that they are all people that have left only one review for only one company and that is all they did? Do you think maybe they are made up trying to make the shop look good? Just sayin'... I think I would be looking for someone that has a lot of reviews over time.. not someone that just opened (again) and keeps moving around.
