When I first moved to Denton I tried a nail salon down the street from this one and had a not so great experience. They did okay with my nails but actually RIPPED my eyebrows off when getting a wax. They left them SUPER thin. After this experience I was a bit iffy about going back. Then I found MC Nails. I walked in expecting to pay $40 plus tip for acrylics but actually ended up only paying around 25-30. The acrylics lasted a good two weeks and then I went and got them filled again. The people at this salon are very sweet! I have no complaints. It baffles me that so many people seem to have had bad experiences here. I feel it is all in how you treat the workers. If you walk in and treat someone like they're less than you, you're going to get it back. My issue is that a lot of people in the service industry deal with this so much already. I tend to notice that the better you treat them, the better they get the job done.
