There was a sign when my husband and I pulled up to this restaurant that this might not be the best place to eat. Only the B-E-T were lit...bet....as in place yours before you go in. The giant industrial fan with the cleverly hidden orange extension cord was also a hint that this place had seen better days....I remember Pancho's years ago where the food was wonderful and the flag was fun. This sad place was obviously its doppleganger.

The buffet line was clean and the food looked good with the service at the line friendly. The "salsa" bar was canned jalapenos, pico de gallo, multicolored limes and ranch dressing. The decor of the restaurant can best be described as early "1960 Spaghetti Western" circa "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" sans theme music. Everything is dark, dusty and mysteriously sticky.

Tex-Mess is the best description of the food with it being apathetic and bland.....like our "waitress". The poor thing seemed to be completely overwhelmed but the bustling 25 people in the sitting area. My husband and I raised our flag twice" Once with the request of two tacos, two taquitos and two flautas, which was "a lot" according to our "waitress". The second time was for sopapillas which boggled her mind and caused the poor thing to wander by our table a couple of times before she brought them to us. At that point, there were literally 6 tables seated. The sopapillas were THE best part of the whole experience but not $24.00 worth it.

It is clear that this place is singing its swan song and I hate that but visit here: if you are drunk, you have lost your sense of sight or taste or you have been dared.
