This man is a con artist. Do not trust him under any circumstances! I worked for him several years back. He borrows money from his own clients, lies to people to gain their trust while covering up the fact that he was fired from the University for questionable activities, yells at his employees, and under reports income and expenses to avoid legitimate taxes to the IRS. He claims Christianity for his image, but clearly isn't. He is haughty, condescending and imperious to those he is not scamming.

I address my comments to poor Julia. Ma'am, I would encourage you to look up Mr. Young's record with FINRA, as of January 2008. "Without admitting or denying the findings, Young consented to the described sanctions and to the entry of findings that he borrowed $238,500 from public customers even though his member firm did not have written procedures allowing the borrowing and lending of money between
registered persons and customers." Would you use a financial advisor who borrowed money from his clients?

Phillip has been a wonderful and trustworthy help for all of my financial planning needs for many, many years. I am appalled to see a bad comment left by someone who barely spoke to him, when there are so many of us - deeply satisfied customers who would not leave Mr. Young's service for the world

I can't decide if it was his condescending tone or his general smugness that set alarms off in my head. I would NOT trust this man with my money, nor would I recommend him to anyone.
