Never wanted to deal with Avalanche again. Had to go back and "Jay" in parts made me change my whole outlook towards the dealership. His professionalism was over top. Took care of what I needed from start to finish!!!!! I wish every employee treated me in this manner. I will be sending all friends. To "Jay" !!!!!!!!!

I had the same sales "experience" as others here. Just because I'm over 65 doesn't mean I'm senile!

I wasted a beautiful spring Tuesday afternoon getting worked over so much I should have taken something for the pain. Old-school sales tactics (everything short of throwing my car keys on the dealership roof) to keep me there. Dozens of trips back and forth to "check on that". The old "foursquare" trick. Probably more insulting of all was the first price I was quoted was $2k over the retail price, and that was before they tacked on some pretty outrageous fees.

When I finally left (and I checked to make sure my watch was still on my wrist), I went to Sun. Much better experience there but they didn't have the Road King I wanted. I ultimately went all the way up north to Thunder Mountain where the sales team was professional without any crap (ok, so the F&I guy pushed the ESP package pretty hard).

Avalanche, they're right about people telling everyone about a bad experience!

Terrible experience. I have a 2005 Ultra that I bought at Freedom Harley (predecessor to Avalanche). Freedom was pretty good. Avalanche is horrible. It took nearly a month to get my service complete on my 2005 Ultra - 20K service, replace fuel gauge, tighten up oil cooler, fix radio. They stuck me with $109 labor charge for diagnosing each of the obvious items (instead of just replacing the fuel gauge, radio, etc.) on top of the labor to replace the items. Ridiculous and abusive. They never called when the bike was finally complete. And the clincher: they refused to install a new tire on my other bike, a 1995 Heritage. "It's too old - we only work on 2002 and newer". WTF? A Harley dealer won't replace a tire on a Harley? Take your bike and your money elsewhere.

Worst Harley dealership in Colorado. New bikes are priced above MSRP, outrageous fees, old school sales tactics. They would not even honor a used bike price they listed on craigslist and on their own website. New bikes do not even have prices on them because they make them up per transaction. Avalanche Harley's main goal is to get as much of your money as possible so do your homework before shopping there. Better yet go to one of the other 4 dealers and pay MSRP or less with out the hassle.

I purchased a new Harley a few months ago from this dealership. The initial purchasing experience was as good as one could expect. Once I drove out the door things began to deteriorate. I made a few calls and fired off a couple of emails and I could not be happier. The General Manager, Ryan Sherman, is as fair, honest, and committed as anyone could ask for. Because of Ryan's leadership one will have to search a long time to find a team more committed to costumer satisfaction. Hats off to Harry, Bryan, Amanda, and Sid, you are all top shelf. Thanks Ryan for your dedication to customer satisfaction. You are all Top Shelf.
