Provided by YP.comOur Black Lab Ben Love his visits to Camp Bow Wow LoDo. He gets to run and play with all his friends. The staff there takes very good care of Ben and the really care about the family members left in their care. The facility is clean and well maintained and is a great place for a dog to socialize with other dogs. I would recomment Camp Bow Wow LoDo to everyone.

Provided by YP.comI have been taking been taking my dog to the Camp Bow Wow Lodo location since April of 2012. I have had a pleasant experience until now. Recently, my dog was able to eat a large piece of rubber from their facilities. It was of such a size when it finally was removed that she had to been able to chew on it unsupervised for a long period of time. What was most concerning to me was that despite numerous phone calls to both the manager and the camp ranger I received no feedback on what had happened that day while she was under their supervision. In addition, when we met to discuss this further the management team did not express any apology or consideration for what I have been through over the past few weeks. Instead, they decided this occurred at home despite the fact no piece of material like this exists in my home. Furthermore, they contacted my veterinarian without my permission to obtain health records. Indeed why would they contact my vet if they weren’t trying to cover something up?
I took my dog there in the morning and when she was returned to me she was never the same. Upon taking my dog to the vet since she wasn’t returning back to normal the vet ultimately had to perform emergency surgery removing the large piece of rubber from her intestines due to an intestinal obstruction. I am thoroughly disappointed with both how the situation was handled as well as the management at Camp Bow Wow Lodo. I am now facing a large amount of vet bills and the Camp Bow Wow management will take no responsibility or even bother to come to an agreement.
Lastly, I would never recommend this facility for your loved ones. If you care for your furry friends as much as I do I would think twice before you leave them in their care. It only takes one occurrence for you to lose your loved ones. I was fortunate and my pup lived however, I am told by the vet that we caught it just in time.

Provided by YP.comI am not one to write a review, but this place deserves one. :) We took a short trip from CSprings up to Denver. We chose a hotel that allowed pets, so as to not leave our dog at home. Not really ever traveling with the dog, we found out that we could not leave him in his kennel, in the room while we went to the zoo. I called Camp Bow Wow (now that I was in a pinch) to find out what I needed to do to have him stay there for a day. Again, this was last minute so I didn't have any of his papers regarding shots. Amber, plus additional staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. I got the number to the vet, they called and had the paper work faxed to them. Upon arriving to drop off our dog, they 'interviewed' him and slowly adjusted him to the other pooches that were visiting that day. All the while, we watched on a camera to see how things were going. They were so patient with him, since this was his first time around so many dogs, PLUS any kennel-like facility. He did wonderful!
We enjoyed our day at the zoo without worrying about him...and picked up a VERY tired, but happy pup!!! :) They supplied me with tons of great information and we left with tons of smiles. Thank you so much!!! Anyone that is in the Denver area and needs to find a place to put their lovable furry-family member...I HIGHLY recommend the staff and facility of Camp Bow Wow off Brighton Blvd. We hope that Mingo can come play with the other 'campers' again.

Provided by YP.comWe have been boarding our dog, Bear, at this Camp Bow Wow for several years when we go on vacation and he loves it! Bear has so much fun playing with the other dogs and is ready to just sleep when we pick him up.
The people there are great and extremely helpful and friendly. The place is also really clean and you can tell they really care about the dogs. We are confident that he will be safe and has never come home with any injuries or problems due to the secure and watchful environment.

Camp Bow Wow LoDo is such a great place! The staff is unbelievably friendly, and all of them truly enjoy their jobs AND dogs. They are always so happy and energetic when I drop my dog off, and they are equally friendly and outgoing during phone calls. They keep individual files on each dog and note their vaccinations, feeding schedule, etc. They keep track of when the dogs are do for vaccinations. All dogs must be neutered or spayed. Initially, I was always hesitant about doggie day care because of “horror stories” that I read regarding the condition of facilities. This camp is very clean, and I feel safe leaving my dog there without excessive worries about him catching something. I’ve seen the staff clean the facility to ensure that the doggies remain healthy, and they take extra precautions during the kennel cough season. The dogs are divided up into play areas based on size, and this makes it a safer experience for the dogs.
