Catholic Charities Adoption and Birth Parent Counseling Programs are licensed by the state of Colorado, and are provided to individuals and families of all faiths and backgrounds. Birth Parent Counseling services include decision making counseling regarding parenting or adoption placement, resource/referrals and ongoing support. Adoption Services include: foster-adopt domestic, international and kinship /designated adoption. Components include: training, education, family assessment, ongoing support, placement supervision, post finalization services, and resource & referral. The Foster Care Program provides placement services for children ages 0-18 throughout metro Denver who are unable to remain in their home due to abuse or neglect. Families interested in becoming foster parents are: * Provided Education * Training and Certification * Case Management * Ongoing Support * 24 Hour Emergency Access to Staff * A Monthly Support Group and Newsletter * Respite Care * Liability Coverage and a Monthly Stipend Determined By the County Department of Social Services Counseling Programs include services to individuals, couples, families and children. Services are provided by master¿s degree and licensed level therapists at counseling locations throughout Metro Denver. Appointment times are flexible. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. Catholic Charities staff will also assist clients with insurance billings, including Medicaid.
