Dr. Korman, a medical board-certified rheumatologist, was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley where he majored in biophysics. He received his MD from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. After residency, he and his wife circled the globe, 6 months of which were spent providing medical care to underserved populations in the Australian Outback and Nepal. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Korman completed a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Colorado. In addition to regular clinic work, Dr. Korman volunteers at the Veterans Administration Hospital and has an outreach clinic in Colby, Kansas, providing care to the underserved in western Kansas, eastern Colorado and southwest Nebraska. He enjoys the privilege of maintaining long term relationships with his patients. In his free time he likes to ski, bicycle and hike with his wife, three children and dog.
