Wins Worst Company of the Year Award

Services promised under contract are not being provided. Company is unable to provide contracted services. We currently have Forthought as our vendor for our clinic and in my 15 years of professional work history, I have never worked with a more horrendous company. The internet connections and phone service is shoddy at best - ZERO reliability. They are not a complete company like they advertise - let me explain. They subcontract ALL of their services, meaning YOU the customer get to pick-up the tab on service repairs for services you're already paying for!?? We advertise an emergency 24 hour phone line that MUST BE OPERATIONAL FOR PATIENT CARE AT ALL TIMES less an act of God. Well, God's apparently working overtime because the problems are daily - degraded lines, poor connectivity, internet crashes, sending the same fax so a patient can receive care 15 times hoping it will go through, phone lines mysteriously cut-off patients' mid-sentence, the list goes on. We call over and over and over again asking for them to provide the service they are contracted to provide, or at least FIX the services they are contracted to provide. They magically have no record of our calls, so that's our fault according to them? There is no accountability, no reliability, and any money you think you're saving initially ends up coming out of your pocket in the THOUSANDS, that's right, THOUSANDS for their shoddy services. They also always recommend this company called Stonetree to be the "physical" arm of their company for service repairs (that they should be responsible for, right?) - that of course you have to pay for out-of-pocket. Stonetree is the second worst company ever. For example, to install Vipre on 5 computers they billed our company $1500.00. Vipre!? I couldn't make this stuff up. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. They are not providing the services we are paying for - last time I checked that qualifies as an automatic breach of contract. So they are legally obligated to let us out of this nightmare contract, which of course is not happening.

We are still paying our monthly due to them and they are still providing us with service some of the time. Every time we speak with someone in their company, we explain what's happening, all they ever say is that everything "looks good from their end" and to "turn the power on and off again on their equipment." We are between a rock and a hard place. Our patient's healthcare is suffering because people calling aren't getting through - who may need emergency services that we provide!! I've explained this problem to the company in detail and no one is doing anything. Oh wait - I can't even post this review because my internet stopped working....10 minutes later this review was posted.

Stay away from foreThought

Terrible internet service. They charge you a ton of hidden fees. Cancelling costs $150. Stay away from foreThought.

13 year customer can't leave soon enough

Feb 09 I added phone service to my ISP. We had zero service for 4+ days while they tried to do the transfer. A 1 am call to tech support (Jawaid) finally got service in place. 30+ days to configure the line for my fax. 5+ months to get the billing straight. Aug 10 phone and internet went down. Repeated calls to Forethought got Qwest to send a tech. I was told the line with no service was fine. A second Qwest tech said it was a Qwest issue and had it fixed-kind of. Since Aug I've had intermittent and slow internet. I've called customer service (CS) and emailed regularly. Response to my tickets were insulting. The billing dept suggested I may be causing the problems! CS scheduled a tech that never arrived. CS kept me on hold for 50 min. I decided to switch companies. Forethought put a 3-wk hold on my phone numbers. My internet is worse so I had to call CS again. Jawaid isn't going to fix the problem since we are leaving. I'm stuck for 8 more days. Find another ISP and phone company!
