This hotel needs a complete makeover. It is located in a great area right next to the football stadium. The view from the restaurant is great especially in the evening, the lobby is very nice, as well as the pool area. The rooms however, are sub-standard, dated and smelly, the water pressure is low, the elevators (while they look nice) kept breaking down periodically and the remote control in my room had some type of crud on it that made me not want to touch it. Yuk! The very best thing that I can say about Hotel VQ is that there is a delightful woman that works at the front desk, I believe her name was "Tee". very professional, courteous and friendly. Her quality of work and the quality of this establishment do not match. She should work at a five star hotel where she does not have to make excuses for owners and managers that drop the ball. I will not stay at VQ again but I enjoyed meeting "Tee". I hope that is her name.
