Go somewhere else for rehab...

My father was in Manorcare about 2 years ago; so when my mom needed nursing care -it was not even a question on where to take my mom. Boy were we wrong!! It's crazy how much the place has changed. Doesn't even feel like the same place as two years ago. Management has changed and in my opinion they aren't doing a very good job at caring for people's parents. It's a disappointment. We ended up taking her home early because we felt she was getting worse while there. Never again will we go to manorcare.

I had to have hip surgery last month, my doctor reccommended that i go to rehab afterwards because I live alone. He said i should probably look around before surgery so i had a better idea what rehab was like. I looked at Sloan's Lake, Centers at Lincoln and ManorCare. I ended up choosing ManorCare because I felt after talking to them they were the most experienced in what they do. After surgery I went to ManorCare and had great rehab! The therapist really knew what they were doing & I am back up at my job doing better w/out any hip pain! I would recommend everyone to take a look at ManorCare in Denver.

ManorCare Denver was great!! My mom stayed there for about a week for some short-term rehab after surgery. she's doing great btw-- :) Therapy was incredible! They even invited me to the session to help encourage her. Staff was always around when needed & friendly. If needed I would definitely choose ManorCare again.
