Provided by YP.comI took my 1962 Ford f100 truck to Mark's and had them do some suspension work for me which included cutting off some 55 year old leaf spring perches and new shock installation. The work was done as requested in time at the exact cost they estimated. I took my old beater to other shops around town, estimates were more than twice what Mark's costs were (obviously if you don't want to do the job, multiply by three on the estimate). Yes Mark noticed a rear pinion seal leak and brought it to my attention with a repair cost estimate on my receipt. My last mechanic just retired after going to him for 28 years. I think I've found his replacement. Thanks Guys!

Provided by YPmobileMark and his staff are the best. They're friendly, honest and completely up-front about repairs and costs. They are also prompt, and when they give you a time frame and estimate, they stick to it. I recommend them to my friends and co-workers, and I would recommend them to anyone with a busy schedule and a limited budget. "Pay less, yet receive the best" should be their motto. Sincerely, Joe Stadnik.

Provided by YP.comMark Greene has always treated me with honesty, respect and charges a good price for any repairs needed. He has worked on my computers in the past as well as my vehicles. I will be taking three of my four cars soon to Mark for repairs because of his expertise. The "Conman" comments below sounds like they were being conned to switch mechanics. I am very picky who works on my vehicles and will continue to use and recommend Mark Greene Automotive Repair to family and friends.

Provided by YP.comI heard about Mark Greene Automotive Repair from a friend. Took my car here thinking I had a bad CV joint. Turns out that wasn't the problem and it was something minor. They were honest with me about it and the price in the end was fair. Will use again.

Provided by YP.comThis is a small local family run business. Mark has decades of experience and is a great mechanic. We've been going there with both of our cars for years now. The review below was written by "Conman"? Seriously? If you want a good neighborhood mechanic that we trust, go to Mark Greene!

Provided by YP.comEvery time I took my car there something else would go wrong in a short amount of time. It's an old car but I found it odd, because everywhere else i've brought it this never happened. First my steering wheel then my gas meter would'nt work, Then my left signal lights in the back and front and my emergency lights and a light swith inside quit working when they worked before I brought it in. Then the last time right after I picked my car up the breaks went out I almost died in an accident. I was so frazzled I took it to a break shop right there and they said the break line was cut right where he installed the control arm and he gave me the cut break line to show the mechanic. I did'nt trust him to repair anything else on the car, but went back to get reimbursed for the expenses and showed him the break hose he cut. He woul'nt even listen or call the other shop and started yelling at me like a maniac. I only have a temp job until the end of this month and he took my last dime and ripped me off. It's very dangerous to take your car there don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It always amazes me that people are so foolish and try there best to hurt a good business just because they are in a hard spot and will not listen to reason. This lady owns a beat up old 1971 Mustang that is falling apart, that's right, a 1971 Mustang, 40 plus years old. Two times before this I worked on the car, gave the lady a ride home and picked her up when the car was done. this was the 3rd time she had come to my garage for a control arm that was ready to fall off of the car. We replaced the control arm and nothing else since the lady has no job or no money. The brake hose that she claims that we "cut" was the original brake hose, 40 years old. The hose was failing and parts of the outer rubber insulator were falling off. Nothing on this hose was cut by my shop, but the hose was failing. When the lady came in to confront me, she would not listen to reason, she just kept stating that the other shop told her that I cut her hose. I tried to explain that this was the original hose and she keep telling me that we cut it. I get about one customer a year like this lady and it's always sad when they will not listen to truth. My shop works on about 200 cars a month and many of my customers refer me to other people as much as they can, I guess that is why my shop gets about 2 new customers a day.
