Dave Farra aka "The Tub Doctor" is a thief and fraud! DO NOT let this person in your home for ANY reason!

This was such a negative experience. I have been patient with Dave for the past 2 months -buying his stories about broken down truck, death in the family, out of town in Houston for funeral (even though I saw him in Denver so he's not telling the truth). His product never dried but peeled, wrinkled and bubbled. He promised on 4 occasions to come fix it but never showed up or even called so I could do something else with my time. I started calling him from different numbers because he was ignoring my calls. Finally I reached him this morning and he told me another Houston story, and realized he used that one on me before. He cussed at me and used such foul, vulgar language that I'm not comfortable being alone in my home with him even if I did want to give him the chance to fix it - that opportunity is past. I just want my $275 back.

The Tub Doctor aka David Farra is a "rip off" artist! He refinished a bathtub for me in Aug. of 2010. With in two weeks the finish started to peel and we found debris and runs throughout the finish. When I contacted Mr. Farra he said he would be out to remedy the problem. He was a "no show" 3 times and at one point his phone had been disconnected. We called another company and they came out and stripped off his "shabby" work and re-did the job. DO NOT use The Tub Doctor!

From the time I called the Doctor he was just fabulous, I was very pleased when he came and did my bathroom. He was so courtious and receptively to my home, he answered all my questions and took time to explain everything I had questions. I will defiantly have him do more work for me.

I hired Tub Doctor to resurface 2 tubs. Dave showed up 3.5 hours late with out a phone call to say he would be late. After preping the tubs he told me he needed money to go get supplies. When the job was done I pointed out black spots, which turned out to be popped bubbles. He became irratated, but said he would return to do repares. After the tubs were dry we found the paint had run on both tubs along with excessive debris in the paint. After 3 no shows - no calls to do the repairs, Dave has not called to remedy the problem. David"The Tub Doctor"is not a true listed company in the state of colorado...I've come to find out. Check on co.state.gov and serch for the name. Not only did david refinish my bath tub he refinished part of my new laid tile floor. When we rescheduled he never showed to corect this problem & i havnt herd from him since. So in short I will say DONT USE THE TUB DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Tub Doctor refinished my tub and it looks like new. Thanks Doc I will Call you again if i have another tub . Britt

David was very responsive until he cashed my check. He reglazed my bathtub and upon removing all of the tape and paper a few days later, I discovered he had missed a spot. So I called to schedule for him to come by and correct the oversight. We scheduled a date and time (for which I had taken off work a second time). He called 10 minutes before our scheduled appointment and said he had a personal emergency to attend to and could not make our appointment. We rescheduled for Saturday morning and he neither showed up nor called. I left him a message and he did not call back to explain his absence. I had intially referred a friend to David, but after my experience, I called and told her not to bother. He is unreliable and unprofessional.
