Pumpkin Center Intermediate School is a learning center that has an annual enrollment of more than 700 students in grades three through five. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a part of Lincoln County Schools. Pumpkin Center Intermediate School organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, such as book fairs, fall festivals, Christmas parties, field trips, talent shows, picture days, musical concerts and dance competitions. The school conducts special programs in music, art, physical education, media, athletics, computer technology, and gifted and talented education. Pumpkin Center Intermediate School supports several before- and after-school care programs.
