Provided by YP.comOrdered food to go, they completely got the order wrong. I called them and they said to bring it back and get a new one. I told them I'm a half hour away, he said oh really? What's your address? I wanted part of my bill comp'd and he said he'd give me a credit on the next time I come in to eat...I don't want to come in there to eat, they just want me to spend more money.

Provided by YP.comI've had several dinners at Safari Miles, both food and service was excellent. However, they do not answer their telephone, nor do they have voice mail or at least an answering machine that gives their hours of operation. We tried to have lunch there one Saturday, only to find out they were closed until 5:50 PM.
So, I would highly suggest that the owner(s) publicize their hours, invest in an answering machine or answering service of some type. If this business fails it is for that reason! I have called several times, all in vain, trying to find out when they are open to schedule a luncheon meeting.
Note, this review was written a few years ago. Safari Miles now has a very nice website with hours, menu and other details readily available: http://safarimiles.com/ And, I have been there in the past couple of months and I can still still recommend this restaurant!

Provided by YPmobileWe were seated quickly, the atmosphere is very relaxing and the ahi tuna was out of this world! Can't wait to go again.

Provided by YPmobileI ordered the steak and it tasted like it had been microwaved and was a little too tough for a filet mignon I thought.

Provided by YP.comThis guy must be a proverbial liar. I go to Safari about three time a week and the service at the bar is by far excellent. On the other hand there food is outstanding and price is unbeatable. The first restaurant/bar in Denver, NC to serve liquor by the drink and they have been there for seven years and I know the family who own and run the place and they have always been by far very successful in there previous restaurants all over Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Safari is and will always be a land mark for the Denver area, with there food, atmosphere and service. I love this place because its family owned and operated and its not some typical chain restaurant that only consider there customers as numbers. I always feel welcomed here and the family treat there customers as family!!!

Provided by YP.comDo not sit at the bar as for the service is pretty bad. Your drinks go dry and you don't always get what you ordered. Also everything is highly seasoned so much you will be burping it up til the next day. The hours on Mondays and Saturdays are hard to understand, like why not be open 11am-10pm? They do not open on these days til 5pm. You would think Saturday would at least be open them hours. We do not eat there anymore due to poor service at the bar.
