Provided by YP.comFirst off, I want to say that I am always nice to people who serve my food - for both decency and practical reasons. As soon as you walk in the door of Denville Diner a hand-made sign yells at you in big letters to not sit in a booth unless you are more than 1 person (fortuneately I was with my wife). I ordered a souvlaki sandwhich - it came with stuff on it that was not listed on the menu. Nice waitress didn't understand. She told the fry chef who looked pissed. She also forgot to order my Onion Rings.
I waited a long time for the fix. Again not what I ordered. Then a tall short-haired loud blond waitress comes over (not my waitress) to argue that this customer is wrong and yells at me. I have never been scolded by a waitress. It was humiliating in front of other customers (some of whom I knew). I was embarrassed for the rest of my stay and ate quickly and left. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE UNDER THESE OWNERS AGAIN. Cafe Main and Heritage Grill are across the street.
