I had called around the community to find a small engine repair technician… Everyone highly recommended this location. I am a recent widow and I have to admit that this was the best decision I could have ever made by coming to hectors hardware on transit road in Depew. They were upfront about the cost of repairs & did an amazing job on my lawnmower. It starts with a keystart on a dime . they also sold me an amazing snowthrower last winter. Something I personally could handle with my double wide driveway! they service both my lawnmower and snowblower & I am 100% satisfied.

Avoid this store for repairs. Took a lawnmower in for a simple repair quoted $50 repair. When I went back to pick it up they claimed they had done all this other work to it that was unauthorized. They tacked on $250 for a tune-up and new belt. When I brought it in there was a new belt already on it (of course they claimed it was worn and they threw it out) . You can get a car tuned up for how much and they add $250 for a lawnmower?
When I complained their answer was that the $50 repair I brought it in for was actually $350, but they discounted it because of the other work, so I saved money.
They lie through their teeth and rip the customer off, even if this work would have been authorized who would pay that amount? The lawn mower was only worth $100.
