In the past few years I have had two painful dental problems that no other dental office would see me for on an unscheduled Saturday appointments other than Smiles Dental Center. The last Saurday accepted visitation emergency visit reliever me a o the extreme pain of an abcessed tooth removed so I could enjoy the Easter Sunday dinner with my family in Madison. And their rates were always very reasonable in the eyes of this retired person on a fixed income..

Dr, Crocamo does root canals and crowns the same day! Dr Soferman is the kindest most compassionate person. Great practice.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST RIP OFFS THE DENTIST SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN A CIRCUS.

I disagree whole heartedly with mocker3_. I have three children, two daughters and a son, and have been taking them to Smile Dental in Oxford, CT. for 9 years. I would never take my children anywhere else. When my youngest first began going to the dentist, I chose a pediatric dentist. My daughter disliked the entire staff including the dentist at that office. I began looking for a new dentist for my daughter. I came across Smile Dental Center in Oxford and decided to try them out. The waiting room has an assortment of magazines for the parents, and kid friendly books and magazines for the children. They have a Thomas the Tank Engine train table with an assortment of Thomas trains for the little ones to play with in addition to several other toys. We found the staff to be professional, caring, and kid friendly! The dentist Dr. Jill Simon was great with my daughter! And best of all, my daughter loved going to them! No more fights over having to go, she looked forward to her cleanings! The office has such a pleasant atmosphere, very professional, and wonderful treatment. My daughter loved the fact that she got to choose from so many different flavors for toothpaste and that she was able to watch her favorite show on television while they cleaned her teeth! My youngest is autistic and I was worried he would be too much for them to handle. I shouldn’t have worried…. They not only were able to help him, but he responds so well to Dr. Simon and her staff! I trust my children’s dental care to Dr. Simon and her staff, and I would never take them anywhere else. I was so fortunate to find them, and would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in the best dental care for their children.

Ok for adult dental care, however, you will pay more than necessary here.

As for pediatric dental care, I have taken my child there a few times. But their pediatric office is not overly welcoming for young children and the staff do not welcome parents into the exam rooms even for children as young as 2-3 years old. Admittedly, they could not keep parents out of the exam room. I do think the staff could cooperate more with parents to help put children at ease. This office needs to support this parent/child bond. They could start by interacting more with the parent and child together. Maybe a flavor chart to be filled out while waiting in the waiting room also.

I think this place is the greatest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place will rip you off!
