Please do not rent or buy from Century21 Steve Delia Associates. This specific branch of Century21 is doing an unfortunate service to the Century21 brand. Military and dependents in the Fort Polk area be especially leery. With few options in the area, what they offer may seem enticing but in the end the customer service was poor and move out procedures were shady at best resulting in us losing $500 of our security deposit. (In 10 years of renting as a military family across the world we have never lost anything from our deposits). The owner had complete disregard for anything I tried to explain or question.



When I showed up at the house in August2009, it was filthy, the fridge was molded and it was infested with black widows. The yard was overgrown up and over outside windows and there was no garage door as promised. I should have walked away then. Needless to say, it was left in MUCH better condition. Yet, $500 of racketed charges were deducted (of which Mr. Delia insisted were all justified). $95 kitchen spray nozzle repair and $60 cleaning fee for dirt in a corner and 2 dirty baseboards, as example.



Buyer/Renter beware of LA law and shady rental agencies. Live on Post if you can. It's not glamorous but in the end, I think it best.
