Des Lacs-Burlington High School, located in Des Lacs, N.D., provides a variety of educational and extracurricular programs for grades nine through 12. The school aims to educate students in a supportive, challenging, disciplined environment to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens with a strong work ethic. Its curriculum includes an extensive study of various subjects, including English, science, mathematics, social studies, foreign languages, music, and health and physical education. It provides various group activities, and sport programs, including volleyball, baseball, basketball, track and field, football, and cross-country. It has a fully equipped library and computer laboratory. The school enrolls more than 200 students, and is governed by the United School District 7. The school district uses North Dakota State Assessment to test students in language arts and math.
