If there was ever a company and their product/services which I had purchased and used in the past but so hate the experience of doing business with them, it would be Century Link. I have used at least 5 different internet providers across the country from Comcast to Mediacom to Cox and Time Warner. I don't know how CL stays in business. God help you if you need to speak with someone at the company for ANY reason, because after you wait a minimum of 20 minutes on hold during open hours that are not very consumer friendly (closes at 5 pm on Fridays and no weekend hours), you will encounter rude and snarky representatives who obviously don't have their calls monitored. After I ended my internet service 4 months prior and then Century Link continuing to charge me (direct bank withdrawl, so don't do that with them), I finally got a refund check in excess of $120! It took me contacting the State Utilities Board to file a complaint against them for a lack of payment after being overcharged. I called CL 4 times in the course of 3 months, only to be told the "check was on its way..." I would go without WiFi if they were the only provider of internet service where I might live in the future!
