Provided by YP.comI posted this before. But now feel after posting my feelings on Facebook and one of your employees put raging comments on my post I feel you should advise her to keep her thoughts to herself since Heather n carpet has no idea what I have been thru nor how sacred I was. We sat in the waiting room for 5 hear his week waiting to seen. Our Dr had left for the day. Talked to office at Unity point and with symptoms and having been in you er a week prior they refered us back to you instead of West Demiones. You hv MRI machine. Talked several times the girl at the desk finally gave up and left did not sign paper's. I have lost everypne in my life that I have ever loved and could just see this happening again. We now sre Ankney getting MRI to find out why my husband gets so dizzy that he starts vomiting cam t stand up unable to focus and cam t remember my name is Marilyn Ford husband Steve J Ford

Provided by YP.comI had a c-section here a few years ago. Worst experience of my life. I was not completely anesthetized. I could feel surgery and nothing was done about it other than some extra oxygen via an oxygen mask. I was crying and screaming in pain and the doctors didn't help me. The anesthesiologist literally told me to breathe through it; as if I was experiencing typical labor pains, not surgery. This is why I only have one child. I would strongly recommend going to any other hospital.

Provided by YPmobileLiterally the worst hospital I've ever been to. They offer nothing. Every concern I had for myself was basically shrugged off, they don't care about their patients or their visitors. They wanted to charge $8 for a meal for my husband and their food was terrible (umm, McDonalds is cheaper AND kinda better). They released me with high blood pressure and basically told me it was normal. The first day (within 24 hours of my csection), I waited over ONE HOUR for a nurse after I hit the call button. So I just got up myself. The only reason I suffered through this: to be with my newborn son in the NICU at Blanks.
Both my obgyn & surgeons partner actually regret transferring me down there and wish they would've waited another day or so to clear me for release.

Provided by YP.comNot all doctors and nurses are created equally in this world and I just got my dose of it. I accompanied my husband to the ER and even after he was admitted, then discharged I witnessed the whole process. Unfortunately, he needed to go back to the ER and the staff was horrible and not as knowledgeable as their counterparts on the other shifts/areas. They had to be talked through treatment, the doctor didn't want to leave the charting area and the nurse didn't know anything (according to him). Then had him sit all day after doing nothing else but labs told him while I was at work that they couldn't do anything for him and they needed the bed so his discharge was eminent. I got a call from my husband (sounding horrible) that they had kicked him out and he was in so much pain so could I please come help him.
I know this hospital is usually very good at care but a few rotten apples do spoil the bunch. I will think twice about taking my family back there in an emergency or referring anyone there. Unfortunately, you cannot pick who you get when ER is involved but to Mike, Dr. John, Agi and Mrs. clinic manager SHAME ON YOU horrible medical professionals.
His first visit to the ER and when he was admitted until discharge was great. These other ER JERKS could take a lesson in patient care and remembering why you became medical professionals because book smarts can't make you a better person!

Provided by YP.comEVERYTHING was excellent EXCEPT for one thing. I suffer from chronic pain. I was in the hospital for 7 weeks on bedrest after a wound surgery. they gave me 4 8mg dilaudid every 3 hrs which made me feel fine. Because of the big dose in the hospital, when I got out, there was NO WAY a pain specialist would prescribe me with anything near that. I got out in may. BEEN IN TERRIBLE PAIN EVER SINCE. DON'T THEY THINK/CARE ABOUT PEOPLES PAIN AFTER THEIR RELEASE? APPARENTLY NOT!!!-travis tigges 515-724-3268
