well........ tbh the girl cashier i believe her name started with a K she does not serve well and she does her job terribly she is very very slow and never takes her job seriously and is always on her phone instead of doing her job plus the food wasnt that good

Tacos have always been ok, my wife likes them anyway We Ordered onion rings tonight, out of the freeze isle /and burnt besides /I ordered the super nacos What a joke Not on chips but flour taco pieces / They had refried beans I hate refried beans /and it looked like left overs out of the tacos filling that had been sitting for hours /and then canned cheese poured over the top Really It was so gross i left it un touched My wifes taco had grease dripping out of it but she likes them I guess next time i will pick up hers carryout and go to mcdonalds drive I hate thier greasy food But its 5 star compaired to Tasty Tacos garbage

Today, MARCH 19, 2012 my kids and I ordered 6 Flour Taco's for dinner and picked them up. I'm not a fan of this particular restaurant-I was a loyal customer(for 16,17 years) of the Douglas location and since that has closed I am forced to go to the East Grand T.T.The point of my review is to let the public know that my kids and I all had diarrea this evening after eating the taco's we purchased from this location. I was very upset by this and called and spoke to a female manager that sounded less than concerned or troubled by the fact that I wanted to let her know the flour taco's that my family had eaten from there were tainted in some form or fashion and my suggestion was for her to maybe check her meat and or utensils used in the kitchen. The manager said the diarrea was caused by the beef and bean mixture, that some people develop diarrea from eating that in combination and our sickness was due to that, not their food. I've had no other complaints she said.Then hung up.

After reading all the Great reviews I thought how could I lose?Apparently those who are writing the reviews must work at tasty Taco or own the restaurants. The food is terrible nothing Mexican about this place.No Fish TacosNo Carna Asada TacosNo Pork Tacos, etc. etc. etc.If you want a taco or burrito made with hamburger/ground beef in it, this is the Bland place for you.

There's just nothing like the Tasty Taco "Orginal"...so fresh and yummy! It hits the spot. Even our out of town relatives love to get there there "fix" at Tasty Tacos. It's affordable, and the can't beat this place for Mexican food.

Tasty Tacos has always been one of my favorites. When we visit DSM we like to stop there. Nothing like it anywhere else in Iowa.

Tasty Tacos is the #1 place in the Des Moines are to get the best taco's in town. The flour shells are the best!!! I love em!!
