Eileen is correct. This shop is stuffed to the gills w/beads, etc. It's quite the source for reasonably priced beads, and so forth. On the other hand, two out of three visits show that unless one knows exactly what one wants, don't bother. As a novice, I wished for guidance on a possible project, but the clerk's were far too busy doing paperwork (customer's came & left), but mostly the store was empty. My pocketbook was full of cash, but they lost a good deal of money. The situation was explained to the owner, her comment was "the girl's must've had an off day." What?! One's sole reason for being in business is to make money - period.

I just wanted to drop a line to express the overwhelming joy I experienced here. Starting from the knowledgeable staff, extensive array of products, quality of beads and hardware, location, and price. This hideaway in Des Plaines has everything a jewelry maker would hope for. Highly recommend the trip out to see the shop. It will keep you coming back for more.
