Founded in 1963, Devonshire Elementary School serves more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers academic instruction in reading, mathematics, science, social studies and language arts. The school additionally conducts fine arts and physical education classes. Devonshire Elementary School also offers the English Language Learners program. Its extracurricular activities include reader s theatre and chorus, yearbook and safety patrol clubs. The school offers an accelerated reader program that encourages students to read more books. In addition, Devonshire Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization that supports several fundraising events.
