My husband and I were driving near there last week, so we thought we'd swing by for late lunch. We've been there b/4 and it's always been ok. I ordered a steak sandwich med rare, and of course it came well done. If a steak is good--even well done it's chewable. Not here. A dog would have left it. I asked the waitress to look at it and she agreed that it was too well done. The next sandwhich came out moo-ing- the cow was alive, and to make matters worse, the cook actually came OUT of the kitchen to WATCH me eat it!! I had to look away and chew on. Rare had to do. It had a lot of gristle, but hey I was hungry and tired of waiting and being watched. He said nothing as I took the gristle out of my mouth in front of him and layed it on the side of my plate. The blue cheese dressing on my salad was sour cream w/ one tiny piece of blue cheese in it, for an extra $1.50. You know, it's a cute place, but the food isn't quality or even good. The bread was just ok, and it used to be wonderful. The bar must keep it alive. It seemed like they didn't care if we were happy after we ate. We weren't. Either make a good steak sandwhich or take it off the menu. Someone there should care more.

Provided by YP.comDelicious pizza and Italian entrees. Atmosphere on the more upscale end of casual. Nice relish tray -- where do you see those anymore? Service a tad slow if you have hungry little ones, though.

They have the best homemade bread and flavored olive oil I've tried. The lasagna was exceptional - a nice large portion with plenty of cheese and just-like-grandma's "gravy" (tomato sauce for you non-Italians). Since there's always room for dessert, you should try their homemade bread pudding topped with hot caramel sauce. Yummy!!! Overall, a wonderful dining experience in a family-style atmosphere.

The pizza here is great! The thin crust is the best around. I never wanted to order their special because bacon on a pizza seemed weird. However we had a family party there recently and they served the special so I took a leap and tried it. It was amazing!! Now that's all I order. This is a true Chicago style pizza place don't go here if your looking for that fake pizza they have at California Pizza Kitchen! Also, the Stuffed shells and Baked Mostaccioli are to die for.

No matter what the issue is, they are always great at fixing it. Plus their food is awesome! I have introduced that place to many of my friends, and now when they come over we order the baked mostacoli.
