The sign outside says American Legion, but all I found was a dingy looking place with very few patrons all of whom were sitting at the bar drinking. I checked out the place by attending one of the meetings and was thoroughly disgusted! This is nothing more than a "good ole' boys" club - a bunch of worn out drinkers. From what I gathered, their only concern was being able to keep the bar open and running. I did not hear of anything regarding the wonderful programs that are a vital part of a true American Legion. These people give the words American Legion a bad name and don't deserve to be a part of such a fantastic organization.
