HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Poor customer service and patient priority. I had a dental emergency for a broken tooth and needed two possible root canals as well. I called Perla Dental on a Friday and was told they could get me in that Saturday at 2 pm. I told the young lady on the phone I needed extensive work done, so I am not sure why they would make my appointment so close to closing time. When I get there at my scheduled time, I wasn't even called back to my room for a hour and 15 min waiting in the lobby! What was the point of my appointment time if I wouldn't be called back at least around the scheduled time?? Once in the back, the dentist was very rude and dismissive. She looked as if she were in a rush. I only found out about them closing at 4 pm because I heard another patients mother being rudely told her son's dental work would have to wait until next week when the clinic reopens because "the doctor's don't get paid after 4pm" How unprofessional! I overheard the patients mother telling the tech that the dentist just told her that her son's teeth would be taken care of that day so why is he saying it would not be. The tech was VERY rude and the mother ended up asking him to leave her room with that attitude. Understandable! After the tech left her room, he along with some other workers gathered outside my room and I could actually hear them discuss this patient and their treatment! How unprofessional! The tech was saying they could fix the two teeth on a weekday, but on a Saturday they were trying to get out of there! I was appalled at what I was hearing! I personally work at a health clinic and know how much of a HIPAA violation it is to openly discuss another patients care loudly where others can hear, and we also don't refuse service to our patients just because we are closing. If a patient walks in 5 min before closing, not only must we see them, we must treat them as extensively as we can as if this patient walked in 5 min after opening! The doctor FINALLY came into my room and rushed through the explanation of my x-rays and told me she was sending me with an antibiotic and I can reschedule for my treatment. I understand needing to take an antibiotic for the teeth I needed a root canal on but could they at least address the fact that I had a broken tooth in my mouth already causing me pain??? When I explained to the doctor I had been waiting since 2 pm for something to be done to my teeth she rudely cut me off and said "what is being done is I'm sending you with this RX and you can follow up after" and just walked out of the room! I was livid! Never again will I step foot in this so called business again for treatment for me or anyone else in my family!
