I have many years in Destin and I find their boats to be the best in most areas. This boat was just out for service and is much faster than last year. That will translate into more fishing time as you get there faster. The crew members and all staff are awesome and will help everyone to have a great time fishing. After fishing they have a large sunning deck that allows you to sunbathe and relax after fishing for dinner.

I took my wife and 7 year old son out on the American Spirit today. Everyone on board caught a ton of fish, especially my son. The deck hands were awesome they even help my boy every chance they got. The food was basic but really good. There were a few tangled lines but the hands had you back to fishing in no time. The employees were great, not a complaint one. I highly recommend this boat. With us being locals we might try to go out at least once every two weeks.

Dont go on this boat! You will regret it. They are unprofessional and dont know how to get you where the fish are. They spent 4 hrs of getting to and from the fish and 1 and 1/2 hrs fishing............get a private charter boat!!!! The idiots videotape you while you're puking when you get seasick from their boat............you will regret it, heed my warnings!

We took the family fishing aboard the American Spirit the other day for a 2-6 afternoon trip. It was only $40 and half off for the kids, the cheapest price we found. We had a blast, my younger son caught a 5 or 6 pound Red Snapper and he was so exicted. I would recommend this boat to anyone who wants to have a great afternoon of family fun!
