Provided by YP.comWas not a good experience. Our captain was a perve and did not know much about fishing. He made us work the anchor and tie our own lines. He had no lures besides the ones that were tied to the poles in the boat. We hung one fish and he made us net it and try to land it while he was fishing in the back of the boat. I would not suggest this buisness to anyone visiting Destin. We did get the trip for half price after going back in forth with captain Sloan because we only fished for 2 hours because of rain. They wanted us to pay the full price of $400 but we finally settled for $200.

Provided by YP.comWent out on the fishing charter-Captain was very fun, down to earth guy. Showed us some of his secret spots, caught a few fish, had a few laughs, and my kids couldn't stop talking about the "boat ride" the whole way home from our vacation.

Provided by YPmobilePontoon rentals were awesome. The guy was super friendly and helpful. We came back as a charter boat was getting in loaded with fish. I think some of these reviewers need to remember it's called fishing, not catching. Perfect end to my vacation in Destin!!!!

Provided by YPmobileMe and my 2 sons got a 4 hour morning charter. The captain did not buy any bait and decided to catch his own. After an hour of throwing a cast net he had us 7 pin fish. Then we worked on the batteries for another 15 minutes. We finally went fishing. Trolled with one pole for all three of us for about an hour. Nothing. Saw a school of blue fish and cast a Rapala into the and got bit off. Uh oh, only one Rapala in the boat. So we resort to the 7 pin fish for bait. Caught one lady fish and a 6" redfish that we actually used for bait. Pretty sure this was illegal. Capt Sloan offered no discount or remorse if our sorry experience. I would not recommend this business for anything.

Provided by YP.comI would not recommend the Salty Jig. We did a 4 hour trip and the captain acted like there was motor trouble the entire time to force us to fish unproductive spots. We did not catch a single keeper fish. We also had to put the anchor down and pull it up ourselves all for $400. Do not use the Salty Jig.
