The receptionist is horrible at her job and should not even be allowed to work around people. She was rude and pretty much chased people away. Obviously she did not want the Dr to have any sort of business. Not only towards us but several other people in the waiting room. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but we came were there 4 times to try to be seen and each time she tried to "chase us away" I would not recommend this place even though the Dr. Was good. She made the experience absolutely horrible

Refused treatment for my son because left ID at Condo

First of all, their Destin location isn't in Destin. It's in Miramar. It took me an hour & 3 unhelpful calls to the office to the there. It should have taken me less than 10 mins. It's ridiculous that their website doesn't list the correct city! Then I got to the office and waited for another 4 hours in an over crowded waiting room to have my two yr old seen. It was a horrible experience. I wish there were more urgent care options in the area.

Had a great experience. Staff were friendly and professional. Wait time was minimal. My entire visit was less than an hour. I will definitely return for future medical care.

My husband went to emerald coast urgent care on wednesday with a severe cough and shortness of breath. They sent him home with antibiotics with upper respiratory infection. He suffered all night and part of the next day until I could take him to emergency room at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was immediately x-rayed and diagnosed with severe pneumonia and spent two days in the hospital where he received excellent care. All the professionals at Sacred Heart were shocked that emerald coast urgent care did not do a chest x-ray immediately. Never going there again!!

I had to take my son in for a sinus infection and was able to see a doctor in 10 minutes. The amount they charge is the best I have found in the area if you don't have insurance.

My wife thinks she broke her foot and we wanted to get it examined and treated. I called the Destin Ungent Care Facility and was told they do not accept our Insurance and will not treat her. I bought some crutches and an Ace bandage. I hope it works.

I live here and sometimes you just need a quick doctor. I am typically in this location 3-5 times a year. Each time, I am met with friendly staff, clean waiting rooms and doctors who are ready to listen and offer the best medical care. My youngest had been to a few other dr's/ER room's for unexplained severe stomach pain. Each time going undiagnosed. We took her here last fall and he recommended I look further into Abdominal Migraines. I researched that night and took her to a child neurologist that month. The DR at this urgent care center DIAGNOSED what other dr's hadnt been able to do. I am completely confident in their medical practice and skills. I read some of these other comments and I just dont understand them. i am local and use them frequently. Not once have we had anything but outstanding service. Hope this helps!

Be awar that even though your care should be free they will charge you a co pay for what I am not sure nither we they. Although the facility was clean and neat the staff was to layed back to give me a sense of profesionalisum they were un-friendly but i did get a "sweetie" out of the doctor and a "honey 'out of the nurse which i felt were inappropriate.

We had just gotten back from an 1800 mile road trip a couple of days ago. Visited some sick relatives - did not know they were sick when we left and we both ended up with colds. My wife developed severe back pain after we got back. Even though most offices were closed we were able to get right in and she was diagnosed with muscle spasms in the back by Dr Gonzales after he eliminated any other possibilities. A shot and three prescriptions and an hour later she was feeling like she was going to live. A lot faster and cheaper than an emergency room and a lot better than toughing it out!

During our week long vacation in Destin, our three year old developed fever and complained of a soar throat. We had seen the urgent care clinic as we were driving to our condo and decided to go check it out. The staff was very friendly and professional and we waited less than 10 minutes after filling out our paperwork. We saw the Nurse practioner and she was very good with our son. She called in our prescriptions to the nearest walgreens and we drove through to pick them up. He was feeling better the next and they called us to check up on him. I would definately go back if we get sick while on vacation again!
