Well, My family has been a member Regions bank for many years. Not only a member but also a shareholder. I as the Son of the account holder with disable parents am now the controller of funds. I would tell my friends that I just had my wife try to cash a 25 dollar check directly at the branch and was charged 2 dollars. The check was written on a Regions check and a regions branch still charged 2 dollars on a 25 dollar check. Until today I would have recommending this bank and was also planning to transfer my accounts from Wells Fargo to regions along with funds from house sales and inheritance so that it would be convenient for me to have one bank. Now I don't think I will be doing so. In fact I believe this was the breaking point to move my parents working funds out of regions. It is a shame since my father is a shareholder and Ive been promoting them. But is also stand to reason if they treat members or a member wife like this then how do they treat those that are not members at all and are just trying to cash a regions checks. I am now starting to understand the complaints.
