Your mental health dept. leave a lot to be desired.Dr.Jasty after 4 days has never returned my calls,do to him giving me the wrong meds.I need the number of Chief of the Detroit VA Hospital.Or maybe I have to go to a civilian shrink and really get the job done. Close down the Mental Health Dept.in Detroit and let them go get a real job out side the VA then they will have to work like the rest of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Detroit Regional Office has been subject of so many scandals due to mismanagement, wrongdoing, zero accountability, and simple chronic incompetence... Such as is the case of destruction of veterans files with claims/cases to systematically deny basic benefits that are overdue. It seems that they don't want to be reached by mail since the forms they send us come with an incomplete addres "477 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI 48226", but they don't occupy the whole building so your correspondence with the forms filled out will return. Maybe they don't actually exist, after all such a dysfunction entity should not exist based on the normalization of the rule of law.

Why doesn't the local VA office in Detroit have its own contact number? How is this office assisting local veterans if we don't have a local contact number for that office?

This is NOT the number for the Veterans Administration. It is the number for the Corps of Engineers.
