Provided by YP.comThey are dishonest, unprofessional, rude and unethical!
After my vehicle was stolen it was abandoned at a gas station and towed by Goch and Son's.
1. They didn't follow city laws and police procedures. Detroit requires that any tows not requested by the owner or operator be authorized by Detroit Police. They did not call the police first. You would also think that if you are towing a vehicle with a broken driver's side window you might suspect that it was stolen. They have also now caused the crime scene to be contaminated, pretty much eliminating ANY chance to find the thief.
2. They are holding are vehicle hostage. They won't let us even look at our vehicle which is locked in their impound lot. We have only their word that it can't be driven and are insisting that, in addition to the first $75 for being towed to their lot, that we pay more money for them just to tow it out of their lot.
3. When we tried to talk to them (being totally civil) they refused to even give us any information and hung up on us. This happened 3 times.

Provided by YP.comThe State police had them tow my car after an accident. not only do i have to pay to fix my car and was just in an accident but they charged me $500 when i didn't even choose for them to be the towing company that i did my business with. my car may not even be fixable so the $500 to have them tow it there and to my auto mechanic is insane! when we found it was towed there we have a family friend who owns a towing business of his own we asked if he could tow it from their lot and they gave us the run around. first they told us all the outside towing company needed was liability and workmen's comp. but when he gets there they tell him he needs a notarized letter with permission to release the vehicle to him and they would charge a $50 gate fee. the men and women who helped me have all been very polite but who ever owns this company is a douche bag and needs to be fired.

Provided by YP.comHorrible service charges, they seem to exaggerate everything they charge a person with. This business does not seem fair at all in how they conduct themselves. They only aim to take advantage of every individual and to cash in at the expense of others. If I ever need help in the area in regard to needing a tow truck, this company would be the last business I would call. Do not use them. Unfair. Greedy. Period.
