Great clothing and great customer service. I purchased a Groupon and redeemed it at the I Am Detroit store. No waiting, no issues at all. I would highly recommend them everyone.

I, too, wish I had read the reviews before ordering. It's been almost a month and no t-shirt, no response, no nothing. I'm glad I had a huge coupon, because if I had spent more than $20 I would be busting down some doors. I doubt I will ever see the t-shirt let alone my money back. What a joke!

I purchased a groupon for this place sometime in January. I called them multiple times, left multiple messages, and talked to multiple different people . Always being promised the same thing by all of them, that it would be shipped out, but it never would come on the day they said. I patiently waited for this t shirt for 7 months. I recently went to a local BBQ event, they happened to be out there as well. I confronted the worker, saw the shirt I wanted, and he gave it to me with no hassle because I'm sure he could sense my frustration. The worst place to purchase a shirt from, is a place that claims they're supporting the D , but treat us all like S***. I'm not the first to complain about this place, and I'm sure I won't be the last.

I cancelled my order and told I would have my refund within 7-14 days. It's day 15 and I can't even call because the phone number is NO LONGER IN SERVICE. There's reliable service for you. They didn't waste any time to take my money but they sure make it difficult to get back; if I ever do see it again.

Recently placed an order on April 21 and I was told it would be ready by the 28th. I was alos promised other things to help promote my business. I did not receive my order until today, 2weeks later. I called 3x no answer. I left a message with an employee to get in touch with either of the owners and never received a call back. I never received a call stating that my order was ready for pick-up nor did I receive what I was promised. I told the owner Brian about my issues once I went and picked up. He seemed uninterested and unsympathetic for the situation. On top of it all, they were a week behind and still missed 1 shirt. They had 2x the original amount of time and still managed to screw my order up. I'd advise you not order from here, their customer service is TERRIBLE -_-.. This is coming from a business owner ..

Love this place! sweet shirts and great customer service. I think it's cool that they are the only detroit brand that actually make their shirts right on site in downtown detroit.

terrible customer service

I wish I would have read reviews before placing an order. I place an order 1 month ago December 22nd and I still have not received my product that I paid for. I have called 10 times within the last 2 weeks and nobody answers and you cannot leave a voicemail I have emailed them through their website and through their Facebook account and I have yet to hear anything. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Poor customer service

I ordered 3 shirts on December 2nd 2014 I received only half my order and still have not received my Hoodie I have tried emailing them they respond once with an automated email that said it would take up to four weeks I sent a returning email to them asking for some thing a little more concrete as it was now past 4 weeks I received it a response that said they would send item that week needless to say I waited a week and. Still have not heard back I have emailed them again and have not heard a response I am very disappointed in their customer service I was looking to supporting this detoit based store but unfortunately I have to warn people from ordering here as I am not happy and have not received everything I ordered. As a customer and supporter of detroit I am sad that they treat their customers so badly. I hope that I receive my Hoodie and. CA update this review but for now I do not recommend buying from them.

bad quality cheap prints

bought a t-shirt from a local establishment when I got home to wash it the whole logo fell off went back in the owner gave me a new one went home and watched it on delicate and the same thing happen went up to the owner of the establishment and he said that he has had tons of problems with them I asked him where they were from and he said I am Detroit and he's had other issues with them also scammers don't do business with

Horrible service. I ordered 2 shirts. 4 weeks after not receiving them I called them about it. They said they were on back order and forgot to send them after they got their shipment in. I was in the process of moving and updated my address to make sure they didn't send it to my old apartment. They proceeded to send it to my old address. 2 weeks after no receiving them I called again and they said that they sent them but it was the wrong address, but they failed to contact me or send them until that point. I shouldn't have had to call to find out where my shipment was. Then I said I just wanted a refund and the manager said that was fine he would send a check. Then they sent the shipment with no check and are making me pay for return shipping to get a refund not to mention the hassle of having to send them back. Will never order from them again!

Scam and liars!

I tried to email the company when I hadn't received my clothing for over a month and paid 'overnight shipping' of $32.40, no response. Tried calling, no answer. I Facebook messaged-I Am Detroit page and received a response apologizing for the delay but was assured that I would receive my shirts no later than Saturday (6 days later), and extra shirts were included in my package....NO PACKAGE received.

Then I Facebook messaged them saying I want my money back; They responded with another apology and said order was cancelled, I would receive a refund (within 5 business days) and the package was already sent so I may keep it for the inconvenience. They sent an email saying the order was cancelled but NO REFUND was issued. Again, I contacted them, they said they were sending a check out to my address, to which I asked- what we're they sending it too...NOTHING in response.

These people are scam artist, disgrace Detroit businesses and they need to be exposed for ripping everyone off!

They delivered them on time took my phone calls & answered them both times I called it took them an Xtra day 2 get my 5x shirts& Hoodia but they still mailed them on time & I got them a day early

WARNING

Horrible company. I ordered close to a month ago and still have not received my order. I have emailed several times with no response. I also posted a facebook comment on their page and after giving me the generic you shipment will go out today, they delete my post and block me. I have made a complaint with BBB, I feel like they stole my money. I am considering making a police report at this point. You can't get anyone to answer the phone, can not get anyone to email you back. But they will definitely steal your money. All they do is lie and give empty BS promises. Apparently they don't care about return customers or reviews. This company is a damn joke.
