Today I went into the store to look at the birds, and even decided to help someone out by pointing out a mated pair of parakeets, when one of petsmarts employees rudely butts in and states that "they only get male birds in the store" overall he was blatantly rude and defensive.. while the birds were obviously together, cleaning each other and showing many signs of a mated pair. This employees false advice that," preening and grooming each other doesn't mean they are a mated pair" is plain out crazy especially when he goes on to contradict himself by saying males have bluish noses... well, one of the parakeets nose crests was definitely pink and it was a fully grown bird. So all in all I felt bad for the family that was going to buy some birds today, this blatant false advise very well could lead to their animals dying of depression if they split up a couple like that. In addition to this I've owned plenty of birds and even bought a pair of parakeets there and guess what? They had eggs. Please do your research before going to this store it is obvious that the employees do not know what they are talking about or are willing to make an animals life hell so that they can make a sale...

PETSMART IS NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY - I've been a customer since they opened, I was recently severely injured and now handicapped & in a wheelchair. You can't imagine how hard it is to get around by yourself when you can't walk to get a wheelchair in/out of a car. So I pulled into a parking spot near the door and called the store asking if I could purchase the pet food I needed from my car, I had cash money and only needed one item. I WAS TOLD "NO" I conduct business this way with several companies that are very happy to help me out such as Winn Dixie, Farm Bureau, etc... well, as I sat in the parking lot crying I finally asked another customer leaving the store if she wouldn't mind going back to make my purchase for me - she was more than happy to help me! Petsmart shame on you, walk a mile in my shoes. The person that told me "NO" said she was a "MANAGER" and that she might be needed on the floor, the actual walk to my car was about 15 feet taking maybe 20 seconds.

Over priced and do not know how to grooms dogs properly. Save your time and money and go up the road to another dog groomer!
