Founded in 1996, Summit Cove Elementary School serves approximately 250 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes in English math, science, social studies and language arts. Its curriculum also includes Spanish and physical education. Summit Cove Elementary School provides gifted and talented education programs for students with special needs. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that sponsors several fundraising events and recreational activities. It also provides various before- and after-school programs. Summit Cove Elementary School is governed by the Summit School District, which operates nearly 10 elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools offer several sports activities, including wrestling, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf and soccer.
