Payments sent to this Post Office are not reaching the businesses. What is going on in Dillon, CO? I will contact the Town Officials to see what can be done. PO needs to go back under USA Govt.

The "Postmaster" at the Dillon, CO Post Office is managing the most poorly run Post Office I've seen. Lines are consistently long in this Post Office and are not handled efficiently. Over 85% of the residences this Post Office serves are forced to rent a Post Office box because they won't deliver to most people in this area. As a result any package that needs to be delivered will result in people standing in line to get their package.

This Post Office has empty postal boxes that these packages can be put in and a key left in the post office box so the package can be retrieved without standing in line. The only problem is the personnel in this Post Office rarely uses this time saving mechanism. They would rather everyone stand in line instead wasting their time and taking up time of whoever is manning the counter. I have never seen such a joke of a Post Office. If this was a business it would have been shut down long ago.

Not only does the Postmaster not run this Post Office efficiently, but she cannot even pass out the correct package after someone wastes their time in the line. I was given a package not only from the wrong post office box number but from the wrong Post Office. The Postmaster at the Dillon Post Office hands out wrong packages to people that should have gone to the Silverthorne Post Office 6 miles down the road and NOT even matching the P.O. Box number, so nothing on the package matches!

This Postmaster needs to be replaced with someone competent. I've had people that usually go to the other Summit County Post offices and they say they never see a line at the other Post Offices like the lines in Dillon.

I mailed more than a dozen pieces of mail in early December and not one piece of mail reached its destination. Two pieces of mail were addressed to PO boxes located in the Dillon Post Office building. I agree with many residents that we need a new Post Master.

Absolutely atrocious! The Dillon Post Office has the worst customer service in the history of mail service. It is a complete disgrace to the United States Postal Service. I was treated appallingly by Krista, the so-called manager. She actually told me she didn't like the way I looked at her after being very abrupt and rude to me. Unbelievable. I was only trying to see if they had returned (for a second time) a package that had been delivered to my PO Box. Krista is a hateful, miserable human being. Do yourself a favor - go somewhere else! I give this post office less than zero on the scale of customer service.

This place is the worst. They...

This place is the worst. They refuse to answer the phone. When packages are recieved for an incorrect or non-deliverable address, Dillon PO will hold the package for up to a month before returning it to the sender. Even carefully and correctly addressed packages are frequently misplaced or returned to sender. The USPS online system will report a package as "Delivered" for days before the Dillon PO gets around to sorting and delivering packages.

Trying to retrieve a package takes multiple visits and a willingness to accept verbal abuse from the empoyees. The last time I went to retrieve a package, I stood in line behind two people whose packages were correctly addressed, but they were still not recieved. One person said their PO box was incorrectly labelled and their mail was being rejected. The other had a pink delivery slip, but the package could not be found and the PO employee told them "I don't have any more time to look for it - come back later".

My own package also could not be found. I was first told, very rudely, "you have to wait." After waiting patiently for 20 minutes, I was also told "I don't have any more time to look:". Meanwhile, the post office is empty aside from myself, said employee, and one other employee.

As I was leaving, the clerk decided to add a parting shot of "This is the fourth time you've sent me on a wild goose chase for your package". I turned around and told him that he should trust that I wished no one would use the post office, and that if they had a filing system for packages rather than throwing them in a pile, maybe they'd occasionally be able to find one of them.

This office embodies everything that is wrong with the government service industry. If you need to open a PO box, do it elsewhere. Working with the Dillon PO is a recipe for frustration, aggravation, and delayed or rejected mail.

This post office has EXTREEMLY...

This post office has EXTREEMLY rude employees. I have had multiple problems receiving my mail at this post office. I am the primary person on the box and my bills and letters get sent back. If there was a way to get my mailed delivered ANYWHERE else i would close my box immediately. If you have a tracking number and it says that your package has been delivered to the post office you shouldn't have to wait 3 days for the package to be put in your box!!! And employees should not be wearing headphones while they are working and when you ask them a question there answer shouldnt be oh well im working on it. When i went to the post office as soon as it said my package was delivered and they told me that the packages get put away in boxes at 8pm, and when you go back 2 days later and it still hasn't been put in your box is kind of annoying. PLEASE GET BETTER PEOPLE WITH BETTER ATTITUDES TO WORK HERE!!! And this place doesnt even deserve a 1 star rating!!!!

They don't answer their phone....

They don't answer their phone. After speaking with their Post Master, I know why. He told me they don't have time to answer the phone. Time the USPS went the way of the Pony Express.
