Provided by YP.comI just bit into a piece of spoiled salami that I had gotten from them, I had kept it in the freezer!! Who regulates this business? Are they actually allowed to give out spoiled, rotten and moldy food?

Provided by YP.comOn February 1, 2016, several folks were turned away because they did not have their electric and water bills with them. The reason for this, is that they had not come in the mail yet. This is a privately owned "business" that should have been more understanding of this, especially since there were so many of us who hadn't received them. A better way to have handled it was to ask folks to stop back when they got the required info or bring it the next month but still give them food. Independently owned companies can bend the rules, this "business" does not make an effort to actually help those of us in need. The food is almost always expired, moldy, spoiled, unmarked and is a mystery food or is junk food. Inmates get better food than this "food bank" gives out. I don't see how it can be legal to give expired and moldy food to folks, and the unmarked items are dangerous to those who have food allergies and it could be deadly. It is sad we have no other options in Dillon County.
