Established in 1957, J.E.J. Moore Middle School is a public school that provides academic classes in grades six and seven. It maintains chess, beta, spirit and community service clubs. The school has partially implemented the curriculum of the International Baccalaureate Organization, which works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop programs for international education. The school offers a variety of sports activities, such as chess, golf, basketball, volleyball, hockey, cross country, softball, and track and field. It teaches several subjects, including science, social studies, English, math, and health and physical education. In addition, it provides classes in computers, technology education, art, music and Spanish. Located in Disputanta, Va., J.E.J. Moore Middle School is governed by Prince George County Public Schools.
